I always found Bandung as interesting city. I was born in Bandung but never know her very well. After 1 year i was born, my family moved to Jakarta. And I stayed in Jakarta until i was 14. And i realize that i’ve spent so little time to know Bandung more.
The roads, the people, the market, the building, the park, the cafe, the nature. All!!!
Having 13 brothers and sister, my mother has gave me so much relative in Bandung. And when its time the big family gathered in Bandung, I always have hard time to recognize: is he/she is my cousin, or my nephew. Or… whom is he/she from. Just complicated.
So, having to heard my company would have an event in Bandung, I gladly join in and volunteer to come earlier to visit those relative of mine.
My plan was perfect. Joining in Irma’s family car that by chance also planned to go to Bandung with one empty seat. WOW!!! I CAN SAVE MONEY, i said.
I came to Irma’s with two bags but then suddently the big car was broken. Thats mean, no more empty seat. Thats my luck. Thank you for Irma and sisters and brother that took me to a travel agent by time so i can leave for Bandung the same day.
It was actually very cheap to go to Bandung by using travel agent. It cost me only IDR45.000 compared to bus that having the same (or even higher price) it is more comfortable without need to have me scared about my belonging. And it is fast too.
So, my first destination was to my cousin place. He is Galih. He was considered by most of our relatives to have the same facial feature with me and my brother Kiki. And we are getting along very well. Even a hardcore joke wont hurt us. 
He is network admin at ITB, one of the most prestigious college in Indonesia. My mission was to visit him, to make him accompany me going around Bandung, and to download stuffs inside ITB server. heheheh. I successfully downloaded 2GB ebooks of various thinks. Starting from guide book, novel, short story, philosophy, and many other things. Thats only over one night!!!
And the next day we visit our relative and spend the night there. Exchange story with elders is one of the essential here. They sure now lots of stuffs!
And one thing that also important for me is to visit my youngest cousin, Andin, and my niece and nephews: tata, aik and jaja. They are so cute!!!!
I spent only 4 days to enjoy Bandung for myself and family that i need to join my company event.
But in the end of company event. I could spend one more day with Galih. We went with Rima and Yusni to have some short food tour. 
Well, we actually ended up by eating ice cream and donuts since we could not found the right place. But having walk with them was really great!!!
And in the end of the day, i walk down the town with my uncle. To buy some clothes, shoes and jeans. Bandung was famous for its varies choice of shops and tastes. You could by jeans with only IDR50,000 here. And the latest model of Nike shoes you could found only IDR300,000. Thats a great deal once you know the shop price was IDR799,000!!!!
Where was the place you might ask, but that is a dirty little secret of me and my uncle. hehehe
